Welcoming our next class of River Hawks.

Opening Convocation marks the first time our newest students come together as a class.

On the afternoon on Move-In Day, students and their families are invited to attend this annual ceremony, in which the president, provost and members of the university’s board of trustees welcome the new class and the faculty marshal officially opens the new academic year.

We invite all parents and families to join the ceremony on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 2 p.m. in the Robert I. Estill Field House, James W. Garrett Sports Complex.
